Quick Pay
Blackhawk Logistics offers a "Quick Pay" program in addition to
the normal 30-day pay cycle. For your convenience, the Blackhawk
Logistics QUICK PAY system will pay you via Comchek during normal
working hours. Payment will occur after we receive the
original paperwork signed by the customer and/or a legible
faxed copy with proof of claim free delivery.
A minimum processing fee of 3-1/2 percent will be charged for
this service. Contact the terminal of your original dispatch
point to make the proper arrangements for payment.
Helpful Tips for Carriers You
can fax, mail or priority mail your bills in on most loads; there
may be exceptions to faxing. For the correct fax number, or for the
address for mail or priority mail, please refer to the rate
confirmation for each load. If you mail or priority mail,
clearly and boldly mark the outside of the envelopes, "ATTN: Quick
Pay Billing" to ensure expedited handling.
Preventing Delays in Payment by
Improving Paperwork Legibility Faxing is the quickest,
most inexpensive and most convenient way for you to send paperwork
to us, but if we can't read the faxes, we can't invoice our customer
and we can't pay you. Illegible faxes will slow your pay cycle and
force you to send paperwork multiple times and in multiple ways. It
costs both of us money. We need to work together to minimize its
effect.
When you send a fax, the image you send is automatically scanned
into our billing system; no paper is ever generated. Tests of our
inbound faxing program show that the images we receive are as close
as possible to the image your fax machine is sending. We are working
on ways to automatically notify you if your paperwork is illegible.
These are some of the biggest problem areas and possible solutions.
The bills given to the driver are too light or too dark to be
transmitted by fax.
Try using a copier to make either a lighter or darker copy.
If it is still difficult to read, you can assume it will not fax
legibly. Mail or Priority Mail these bills in. Clearly
and boldly mark the outside of the envelope, "ATTN: Quick Pay
Billing" to ensure expedited handling.
The bills are on colored paper that does not transmit well via
fax.
Use a copier to make either a lighter or darker copy on white
paper. If it is still difficult to read, you can assume it will
not fax legibly. Mail or Priority Mail these bills in. Clearly
and boldly mark the outside of the envelope, "ATTN: Quick Pay
Billing" to ensure expedited handling.
The sending fax machine is too old, too dirty or too low in
quality to transmit good images.
If you have legibility issues but original copies are easily
read, you may have a problem with the fax machine you are
sending from. If you have followed the maintenance schedule for
the fax and problems persist, it may be that the equipment is
faulty. Mail or Priority Mail these bills in. Clearly
and boldly mark the outside of the envelope, "ATTN: Quick Pay
Billing" to ensure expedited handling.
